LWV of Yolo County Presents to the County Board of Supervisors

Now that the local Leagues of Woodland and Davis have merged to be the Yolo County League, a refreshed introduction to the current county Board of Supervisors was in order. On July 22, 2025, Michelle Famula, this year’s President, and Lorna Carriveau, Secretary, produced and presented a history and impacts presentation. The presentation was well-received, and some useful questions were asked by the Board.

The most discussed question was about how the League deals with its policy of nonpartisanship in this polarized time. It’s not always easy, but the League is committed. See time point 19:20 to see our commitment.
